During calibration

Click 4 field landmarks clockwise from the upper-left, then Enter. To fine-tune, drag any grid handle onto the real painted intersection it belongs to — the grid deforms to pass exactly through every handle you move. A magnified loupe follows the cursor while dragging, for pixel-accurate placement.

Grass key & chroma mask

The key is built from a Base range — one HSV range, always active — plus any number of Include colors unioned with it, and Exclude colors carved back out. A second grass shade in sun and shadow, or a green-leaning sideline tarp that needs to stay excluded, are both handled by adding a color rather than fighting one range.

Shift Click the field samples straight into Base, as long as no custom Include color has been added yet — once one exists, sampling and slider edits target whichever range is selected in the Include or Exclude list. The shared slider editor marks which one that is with a color stripe:

editing an Exclude range

To see exactly what the current sliders are keying, use Show Chroma Mask in the Grass Key panel, or hold M anywhere for a momentary look without switching it on. It paints solid white, pixel-for-pixel, over everything the ranges currently include — no smoothing — so a gap in field coverage shows up at its true size while you're tuning, not softened away or exaggerated.

white = graphics can paint here  ·  untouched color = they can't

Pan mute

The Pan Mute Threshold slider (pixels moved per frame) automatically takes graphics off air the instant a camera pan outruns it — tracking can't keep the lines aligned mid-swing, so it mutes rather than show them drifting. Output fades back in on its own, a little more gradually than usual, once the camera settles.

Set to 0 to disable the safety net entirely.

Troubleshooting

Tracking drifted or lost: press R to relocalize from the saved reference view.

Calibration: auto-saves as you work, but save a named profile per venue — it won't be there next time otherwise.

Input switching: DeckLink and NDI can't run at the same time; stop one before starting the other.
